Getting started
Choose Manager alone or connect it to the hosted Center, then verify the infrastructure each path expects.
Choose your setup
Use Manager only when you have one server, the embedded interface is enough, and your team does not need a central server switcher. Manager is 100% free and keeps its full current feature set without Center.
Use Manager with the hosted Center when you operate multiple servers, regions, or environments; want one consistent URL; or need a shared server registry. Register, choose a server-capacity subscription, and connect a reachable Manager endpoint for every server.
Before you install Manager
- A Linux systemd host with access to supported stable package repositories, or macOS with launchd.
- An absolute folder containing the projects Manager will operate.
- sudo access for Linux dependency and system-service installation; the macOS agent is installed for the current user.
- On Linux, the installer inventories Git, Docker Engine, Docker Compose, Nginx, and ACL utilities before changing the host.
- On macOS, install a compatible Git and Docker Desktop first; automatic dependency changes are Linux-only.
- DNS and TLS for a public production deployment.
Before you connect Center
- A PAUIOps Center account with an active 2-server, 5-server, or Unlimited subscription.
- A reachable PAUIOps Manager on every server you want to connect.
- Browser network access to each Manager API and WebSocket endpoint.
- HTTPS, matching wss:// Manager WebSocket URLs, and the hosted Center origin allowed by every Manager.
